Thank you to everyone who supported Nantucket Cottage Hospital at the 26th annual Boston Pops on Nantucket on August 12, 2023. The concert featured Conductor Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops on Tour, joined by special guest Michael Cavanaugh, who performed the music of Elton John. Fireworks capped off the show, with a display launching from an offshore barge during the orchestra’s rendition of the 1812 Overture. Look back on a memorable night in the video below! 25th Anniversary Recap: 2022
In a triumphant return after COVID, the 25th anniversary of the Boston Pops on Nantucket concert was unlike anything the island has seen before. In the first of its kind on Nantucket, a high-tech drone light show surprised the audience as the orchestra played the 1812 Overture.
