In conjunction with Massachusetts General Hospital, we offer a pain management clinic for island patients via telemedicine consultations. Anesthesiologists specialized in pain medicine from Mass General consult with Nantucket patients remotely, and if necessary, schedule procedures to be performed here on-island at NCH.
In addition to chronic pain management, this service can also provide patients with several types of interventions, including:
- Trigger point
- Epidural injections
- Sacro-iliac injection
- Facet injection
- Nerve injection
- Transforaminal ESI
- Musculo-skeletal injection
- Sympathetic nerve block
Patients must have a physician referral to be scheduled for a pain management consultation through this program.
